What this is

Great Monitor is a dashboard and Chrome extension that displays public Bitcoin Runes mempool data for bound.exchange virtual mints. It is provided as a free convenience tool by the author.

Data we collect from you

None.

The dashboard at g-monitor.com and the Great Monitor Chrome extension do not require accounts, do not ask for wallet connections, and do not collect personal information. No cookies are set for tracking. No analytics SDKs run client-side.

Data we transmit

When you open the dashboard or popup, your browser makes regular read-only HTTP/SSE requests to g-monitor.com/api/* to fetch public mempool and block data. These requests carry only the standard HTTP metadata your browser sends to any website (User-Agent, IP). Server access logs (nginx) retain that metadata for a rolling 14 days for operational debugging and are not shared with third parties.

Third parties

The site is served through Cloudflare for DNS, caching, and TLS. Cloudflare may receive the same request metadata described above — see their privacy policy. The underlying mint data is fetched server-side by our backend from bound.exchange's public API — your client never talks to them directly.

The Chrome extension

The Great Monitor Chrome extension requests two permissions:

• alarms — to refresh the toolbar badge every 30 seconds in the background.
• host_permissions: https://g-monitor.com/* — to fetch live floor and queue data from our backend.

The extension does not inject content scripts into other websites and does not communicate with any host other than g-monitor.com.

If this policy changes meaningfully, the "last updated" date above will be revised and the change will be summarised on this page.
